APL 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament Philadelphia County
 

The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament for Philadelphia County Divisions at Tacony Billiard Club on February 26-27, 2011.  We had 28 teams playing for a Vegas Qualification and a $5,000.00 total prize fund.  When it was all over "Tacony Bad Boys" from Philadelphia beat out "Stroke The Balls" from Philadelphia 3-2 for the victory and 1st place. 

The payout was $3,000.00 for 1st place, trophies, and paid team entry into the BCAPL national 8-ball tournament in Las Vegas at the Riviera in May 2011.

The payout was $2,000.00 for 2nd place, trophies, and paid team entry into the BCAPL national 8-ball tournament in Las Vegas at the Riviera in May 2011.


Champions - Tacony Bad Boys - Philadelphia - Captain Anthony Johnson, other team members include: Julius Veney, Thomas Vaughn, Charles Spencer, Kenneth Vereen, Lilliam Rivers, and Damaris Rodriguez.

 


2nd Place - Stroke The Balls - Philadelphia -Captain Robert Nagle, other members include: Brian Wright, Charles Glassey, George Kocotis, Patrick Gruber, Jr,. and Pat Gruber, Sr.
