APL 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament

The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament at Tacony Billiard Club on July 23-24-25, 2010.  We had 44 teams that qualified for the tournament.  When it was all over "Thorndale Fire Co. #2" from Thorndale beat out "Great 8 Reloaded" playing out of Tom Foolery's Irish Pub in Philadelphia 3-2 for the victory and 1st place.  "Hollar Back" out of Minquas Fire Co. in Downingtown beat out Limit XX1 from Philadelphia 3-2 for 3rd place.  "Me and the Boys" out of Minquas Fire Co. from Downingtown beat out "Holy Trinity #1 from Pottstown 3-2 for 5th place.  The payout was $10,250.00 and trophies going to the first 6 place teams with the first place team qualifying to play in the BCAPL national tournament in Las Vegas at the Riviera in May 2011.

Champions - Thorndale Fire Co. #2 - Thorndale - Captain Andrew Ruszkay, other team members include: Allan Armstrong, Peter McDonough, Stanley Galczyk, David Aberts, Steve Watson, Chip Wagner, and Debbie Enoches.

2nd Place - Great 8 Reloaded- Philadelphia -Captain Legene Edwards, other members include: Conroy Stevens, Jamal Duncan, Randy Stewart, Norman Edwards, Stephen Allen, James Valentine, and Robert Kenner.

3rd - Hollar Back- Downingtown - Captain Fred Smith, other members include: John Campbell, Joe Amann, Jamison Baird, Brad Chamness, Ed Scrivens, Mark DiDonato, and Robert D'Amato.

4th Place -Limit XX1 - Philadelphia - Captain Carmelo Gonzalez, other members include: Juan Lopez, Chris Small, Alexis Rene Agosto, Carlos Negron, Amando Delgado, Edilio Saldivar, and Carlos Harnandez.

5th Place - Me and the Boys - Downingtown - Captain Jim Ryan, other members include: Al Muccilli, Barry Ortlip, Michael Nase, Walt Winward, John Thompson, Haysha Ferris, and Alan Britto

6th Place - Holy Trinity #1 - Pottstown - Captain Charles Kline, other members include: Paul Cartwright, Irish Murphy, Mike Poorman, and Lisa Cartwright..

Champions - Thorndale Fire Co. #2 1st Place $4,500.00 trophies and team entry fee paid into any BCAPL National Tournament at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in May 2011	2nd Place - Great 8 Reloaded $2,500.00 cash prize and trophies	3rd Place - Hollar Back $1,500.00 cash prize and trophies	4th Place - Limit XX1 $1,000.00 cash prize and trophies	5th Place - Me and the Boys $500.00 cash prize and trophies
