APL 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament

The APL held their 8-Ball "End of Session" Vegas Qualifier Tournament at Tacony Billiard Club on February 8-9-10, 2008. It was great pool from start to finish.  We had 46 teams in the tournament.  When it was all over PACC (Ed) from the Polish American Citizens Club in Coatesville beat the VFW from Downingtown 3-1 for the victory.  Tacony from Philadelphia beat Been There Done That 3-1 from Kinzer to take 3rd place. The payout was $9,100.00 going to the first 4 place teams.

Champions - PACC (Ed) -Coatesville - Captain Ed Wike, other team members include: Alice Dunfee, Stan Kusnierczy, Charles Kruger, Michael Kusy, Raymond Homer, Wayne Grow, and George Pirches.

2nd Place - VFW - Downingtown -Captain George Pirches, other members include: Kathy Landis, Alice Dunfee, Charles Kruger, Joseph Winski, Ed Wike, David Stanley, Robert Landis.

3rd Place - Tacony - Philadelphia - Captain Jeff Horvath, other members include: Mary Horvath, Robert Perry, William Turner, Dawn Hildrich, George Weissman, Rich Cortez, Rich Horvath.

4th Place - Been There Done That - Kinzer - Captain Ray Townsend, other members include: Amy Summers, Mike Makris, Linda McHale, Vernon Shumate, Steve Armstrong, Dennis Chalfont, Jeffery Pry.

Champions 1st Place $4,400.00 and team entry fee paid into BCAPL National 8-Ball Tournament at the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in May 08.	2nd Place 2nd Place $2,400.00	3rd Place 3rd Place $1,400.00	4th Place 4th Place $900.00
